We expect everyone at Brau Union Austria to act and conduct business with integrity. Always. Everywhere. This means in our day-to-day work and interactions, we have respect for people, the law and our values.

Our responsible business conduct framework ensures we live up to our commitment to do business with integrity. Cornerstone of the framework is our Code of Business Conduct, which serves as a beacon and reflects the core principles and policies that steer our employees towards making the right decisions in their daily tasks. The framework also includes specific guidelines addressing important matters like human rights and anti-corruption, bolstered by an array of training materials, tools, procedures and controls. These collective resources equip our Company to proactively prevent, detect, and effectively respond to any instances of misconduct and uphold our high standards of integrity. This way we protect people, safeguard our company’s assets and reputation, while simultaneously fostering trust within our organisation and among our stakeholders.

The HEINEKEN Code of Business Conduct

As the world’s most international brewer, we operate in multiple geographies with cultures and laws that differ from one another. Our Code of Business Conduct (the Code) is here to ensure that we all act from a common ground: our Integrity. Our Code forms the foundation for how we work and do business. It sets out the key principles for our day-to-day actions, decisions and interactions with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure we do the right thing. Always. Everywhere. The Code policies further define expected behaviours to ensure we do the right thing, covering a series of relevant topics, including discrimination, harassment, fair competition, fraud and corruption. The policies play a key role in setting out how we seek to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, prevent harm to people, and protect our brands, assets and reputation. The Code and Code policies are available in 40+ languages to ensure everyone working for our Company is able to read, understand and adhere to them.
